Looking for a great summer camp?
Try the Medical Academy of Science and Health - that's M.A.S.H. Camp! The goal of M.A.S.H. Camp is to promote the health professions to young people before they begin selecting high school course work and setting goals for their future careers. M.A.S.H. Camp provides a fun learning experience for students entering grades 8 and 9 where hands-on, interactive activities rule!
M.A.S.H. camps are co-sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and local health care facilities. CNYAHEC is hosting two M.A.S.H. camps in February 2010, and is currently planning at least a dozen more camps to take place during the summer!

Getting into M.A.S.H. Camp
All students must apply for admission into camp. Camp registration fees range from $15 to $40 depending on the camp location (check out our calendar for camp details). Scholarships are available for families who may need assistance (there is a place to request scholarships on the application form).
Upon acceptance into camp, each student's health information is required for approval to be in the hospital. This information includes a record of current immunizations, a physical examination, and a tuberculosis (TB) test.
Completed medical forms with TB test results MUST be turned in before the camp deadline date to be permitted to attend camp! Students will not be allowed to participate without this information!
An application form must be completed by each student. Please submit the form before the deadline to the contact person for the specific M.A.S.H. Camp you are applying to. Camp contacts and deadlines are listed in the calendar of events. Space is limited to keep the camps as interactive as possible.
