In collaboration with the New York State Department of Health Ovarian Cancer Program, the New York State Nurses Association is offering a brand-new web seminar: Introduction to Ovarian Cancer. The target audience of this workshop is nurses. The participants will learn about the epidemiology of ovarian cancer, signs, symptoms and risk factors associated with this disease, and the important role of nurses in identifying and managing affected women. In addition, this free online workshop provides information on which women are at high risk for ovarian cancer as well as resources available in NYS. The workshop and additional information is available now through June 29, 2008. Registration is required. Continuing education credits are available.
