Program Manager

The Central New York Area Health Education Center is seeking a qualified individual to manage the organization's pipeline programs. The Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, operation, and evaluation of a full range of health careers exploration programs for youth in partnership with health care and educational organizations in a 14-county region.

 

The desired candidate will preferably have a Bachelors degree in health education or related field, and must possess excellent organizational, planning, and communications skills, strong computer skills, and effective group presentation abilities. Position requires travel within region, and significant interaction with students, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and workforce and economic development organizations. Experience working with youth is preferred.

Director of Health Workforce Development

 

The Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC) is seeking a qualified individual to manage the organization's grant-funded programs and services for eligible health care workers in a 23-county region. The Director of Health Workforce Development will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, operation, and evaluation of a full range of employment and training services that assist impacted health care workers through skills assessment, job training and job placement.

 

The desired candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years managerial experience. The candidate must possess excellent organizational, planning, analytical and interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills. Position requires significant interaction with community based organizations, academic institutions, and non-profit and governmental agencies. Candidate must have ability to work independently and as part of a team, and travel within region. Experience in the health care field is preferred.
