What is KeyTrain®?
KeyTrain® is a comprehensive training system employers can offer to improve basic employee skills as measured by the WorkKeys® system. Subjects covered include Reading for Information, Applied Math, and Locating Information.
KeyTrain® includes pre- and post-assessments, self-paced instruction, a complete learning management system, and an occupational job profile database. Individuals can learn, practice, and demonstrate the skills they need to succeed in the jobs and careers they desire.
What is WorkKeys®?
WorkKeys® is an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Compliant (EEOC) assessment that measures the skills required in the everyday workplace. WorkKeys® helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain a quality workforce.
Employees who successfully complete the WorkKeys® assessment will earn their ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, as well as Syracuse University's Certificate of Workplace Competency. The certificates are awarded in three levels- Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
What is the Health Care Career Readiness Certificate?
The New York State AHEC System now sponsors a Health Care Career Readiness Certificate. CNYAHEC is offering this certificate to regional health care facilities who first complete the WorkKeys® assessment and earn their ACT National Career Readiness Certificate. Following this, employees must complete trainings in Health Care Customer Service and Cultural Competency, provided through CNYAHEC. This is a low-cost training that can be provided on-site.
